As always, we had the best time fishing with you on August 23, 2008. Your hard work and determination to find "keepers" makes you an outstanding guide. We recommend you every chance we get.
Also, thanks for working us in at the last minute. We couldn't imagine coming to Port A and not being able to go fishing.
I have attached a few pictures of our fish and the "catch of the day". I had to let up a little this year and let Milton catch the "big one", even though I still caught the most. The 27" trout is his biggest catch.

Here are a few pictures from our fishing trip on Sunday the 22^nd of June.  I cannot tell you how much fun we had.  Given the early morning conditions and our battling with stubborn fish the outcome was terrific.  Once again you outdid yourself.  Your patience and hard work ethic made all the difference for us.  My son and my brother in law are still talking about it.  I have already heard my son telling his buddies how he out fished his dad……..AGAIN!!!!  We look forward to our next trip with you.  Thanks Kevin.

Sorry it took so long to email you these pics, I've been too busy braggin' about the trout I caught!! I wanted to thank you so much for a wonderful fishingexperience. You are truly a professional in your line of work, and it was obvious by our bag of fish at the end of the day. Thanks for all the casts, hauling,cleaning, teaching, photos, information, and new obsession I have to catch a 30 inch trout(that one I will put on the wall!). However, I must say, I don't think my husband can thank you, poor guy... he can't even mention going fishing, he'll never escape again, 'cause I'm going too!Thanks again and until next time,

Kevin, I just wanted to thank you for the good time Lisa and I had. Sorry it took so long to get back to you, we got really busy after we got back home. I wanted to tell you that the experience you provided to the both of us exceeded my expectations in hiring a professional guide. It is obvious that you take great pride in the services that you provide and are passionate about fishing. The attention to detail that you provided did not go unnoticed such as the quality of gear you provided to the manner in which you did everything possible to put fish in the boat. When reports were coming in all day of others fishers not catching anything, we had fish in the boat. As well, the impressive manner in which you went out of your way to control that crazy frenzy of red fish action seemed like a choreographed and rehearsed event. That memory will forever stay etched in my mind. I want to thank you sincerely for the attention you gave to Lisa and me. It can be hard to fork over hard-earned money to a stranger that you are not even sure you will enjoy spending the day with, but from the moment I met you, it seemed like we had known each other all our lives and I truly appreciate you taking the time to make Lisa feel at home. It made the experience that much more pleasurable knowing that she was having a good time. If you ever need any help with referrals or anything, don’t be afraid to ask. I will definitely be recommending your name to the customers I meet at my new job.

As a 4th year medical student, my daughter Jody, finally had some well deserved time off in mid May and wanted to go fishing. We didn’t really have much first hand knowledge of guides in the Aransas Pass area so I called a friend and he recommended Kevin. Myself, my friend and my soon to be OB/GYN doctor signed up for two days with Kevin. We met at the boat at 6 am and, after introductions and helping load our “stuff” off we went. From the first cast to the last, Kevin worked very hard, but maintained that ever important balance between work, teaching, and making sure we all had a good time. As hard as I tried to help, I don’t think I ever did…even when we came up on some birds working a school of fish, he positioned the boat, baited the hooks and did all of the casting for the “doc”….never missed a beat!

Both trips were not only fun, but we caught our limit both days. If you want to fish with a guide who works hard to find the fish, helps all he can to make sure you catch them (including a few free lessons), and makes sure each fisher person is properly attended to, call Kevin “Reel” McCoy.
