The fishing is heating up with the warmer weather. The
70 - 80 degree days have the bass moving and feeding. Large mouth bass are aggressively biting on spinner baits and rattle
traps. If you are lucky enough to get close to the nest of a female, you may hook on to a trophy. The Lazer Eye from
Bass Pro fetched the largest female of the week, caught by Clint Rodgers (see photos below) on 2/26/09 in the afternoon
sunshine with an outside temperature at 89 degrees.
