Hi, I'm Captain Ruben Cisneros. I was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. I developed my passion for fishing at an early age while fishing alongside my father at rivers, lakes and ponds. As a young kid, I remember walking miles to get to the municipal golf course to fish the many ponds complimenting the course. It was during this time when I learned the art of lure fishing and sight casting. I have been fishing the Upper Laguna Madre, Baffin Bay area now for over 13 years. My experience has been acquired by spending countless hours and days along these waters.

I pride myself in having fun and catching fish. I'm committed to sharing my passion and knowledge with others, from the seasoned angler to the first-time on-the-water beginner. Every trip is proudly conducted with strong conservation efforts and customer satisfaction. I offer a unique and enjoyable approach to fishing the shallow water flats you will remember for years to come.

You will be fishing onboard a new 22'6 Majek Illusion boat that offers the extreme shallow water performance needed to get to the secluded seagrass flats of the Laguna Madre.

I specialize in fishing for redfish in the shallow flats of the Upper Laguna Madre. Fishing for redfish in South Texas can be outstanding in any season. Every effort will be made for us to be at the right place at the right time, given the season and weather conditions we have to work with during your trip.
Each full-day trip will include at least eight hours of fishing time, usually from about 6 a.m. to 2 p.m…or till dusk if you can handle it. Winter times will vary according to weather and the tendency toward a better bite in the afternoon when the flats warm up.
